    Silly question, but if someone could please flesh out the steps involved in differentiating the following it'd be really great.

    lambda((q + pe^t)^n - 1)

    Thats the CGF and in the answer I can see the result, but I can't see how it was got. Also, I don't get why, when 0 is subbed in for t in for t, the
    (q + pe^t )^(n-1) disappears.
