If asked to describe the features of the various products, will a typical answer include how they meet customer needs?
i think this will depend on what the question is asking...but a good indication is how the question starts of i.e. discuss, describe, list...etc also the number of marks available may give an idea to how much the examiner is looking for, but I don't think theres a simple answer... its also worth looking at some past papers to get idea for the things being looked for... i know this is not a definate answer but hope it helps...
