Probability of Ruin

    Hi Everyone,

    I am just doing past exam questions for CS2 and have noticed that the requirement to calculate the probability of ruin has only come up in questions from CT6 exams rather than CS2 exams post 2018. However, I haven't seen many CS2 exam questions around risk models so wondering whether the reason I haven't seen it is because it simply hasn't been asked yet. Do we need to know how to calculate the probability of ruin for the CS2 April 2023 exam please?

    Hi Alex

    Ruin theory as a topic is now in Subject CM2. It is briefly mentioned in CS2 but not covered in any real detail.
