Any idea what these are, references and examples?

 

I don't think this means any specific 'tool' or technique, but could be any monitoring process.
e.g. your premium vs competitor
e.g. current prem vs past
e.g. current rate vs past
e.g. office premium vs final premium (comparison of rating strength)
The 'tools' can be simple charts to the creation of rate indices.

anything really, depends on the purpose of monitoring the prem/price/rate.
