Just to give a bit of background, I am a student member of the SOA. I recently moved to the UK to take on a student actuarial role. I thought that writing the UK exams will be more applicable and useful to my work, and I can get transfer credit back to the SOA. Based on the SOA/IFoA transfer rule, I would like to just take ST2 and SA2 exams. Is this possible? Are there any pre-requisites, besides becoming a student member, that would prevent me from writing these exams next year? Many thanks in advance!
