Does anyone else get really annoyed when they read the ActEd solutions and find that they do not stick to the rules. For example, the solution to Q3.1 in the Q&A bank:
    • Talks about the new kitchen in the introduction, but the question states that Delia is only considering taking out a loan, so she won't already have the new kitchen!
    • The description of the APR uses the term "financially neutral". Surely this is jargon!

Similarly the solution to Q3.3 says "XYZ Pension Scheme" on the title slide when the question is about the "ABC Benevolent Fund".

If we did this in the exam surely we'd be marked down?

Thanks for pointing these out, I agree that some improvements can be made here!
    1. In the introduction of Solution 3.1, we could say " I hope that you'll be pleased with your fitted kitchen".
    2. The term "financially neutral" does border on being jargon. It could be simplified to "in the same financial position" or " have the same amount of money".

We'll make sure these points and the incorrect abbreviation in Qn 3.3 are changed for future versions of the notes.
