Possibility for an Italian guy...

Hi,

I am an Italian guy that would love becoming an actuary.
I am wondering if is there any possibility in gaining a graduate position in the UK.

I have an italian bachelor and master in Physics. I was recently admitted in the IFoA, but I didn't pass any exam yet (not even tried).
I am currently working for a big consulting firm (not big 4) here in Italy, in insurance-life field, but not actuarial. It is now six month that I am working after the degree.
I can't access the profession here in Italy, because my degree is not eligible for the qualification (italian laws...). In addition, the actuarial profession is not so developed and widespread here.

So, is there anybody on this forum or anybody you know that succeeded in that?
How many exams do you think are necessary to get an offer?

Any advice will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Cant see any barrier with your degree or where you are. It is competitive to get in so I would suggest you do some self study to prove you are keen and determined. Your work experience will be relevant at least in part so that's a positive too. Good luck

Thanks bystander.
I will start asap studying for the exams.
