    Hello,

During the materials I encountered 4%% as the measure for variance.

This was the first time encountering this and I just wanted to confirm that each % divides by 100 a single time. So 4%% is equal to 0.0004.

    Thanks,
    Brian

That's right. "%%" just means "divide by 100 twice". Variance lends itself to that notation because it's the square of the standard deviation (which could be written in terms of "%").
