    Hi,

    This is generic query about salary scale in Ch 11 pension funds. Majorly we got verbiage such as ('cirrent age 30 and will be earning say £20000 in next year ) , so that means this base is given for age between 30,31 and base used S30.

    Just wandering if we may aksed to use S31 in above example.

    It seems less likely to put future year for base, but still would like to understand if it is possible in Question

    If the person is currently 30 (say) it would be very unusual for the question to specify the salary they will earn between 31 and 32 (which would cause you to use a base of s31). I certainly don't recall seeing an exam question like that.
