hi, any idea about what are passing marks for ct 3 IAI ? I found the paper too tough really very scared.
John, it's just my guess. Not sure to what extent this is authentic, but :- http://www.theactuary.com/features/2012/04/education-sunrise-for-indian-actuaries/ "For example, the IAI always uses a 50% pass mark, whereas the UK pass mark can vary over time and between subjects."
IAI CT3 papers tend to be more tougher than it's UK counterparts and hence a lower pass mark seems to be adequate.
Indeed - much more theoretical rather than application based. Feels like they're written by University Professors rather than practitioners...
