Has anybody noticed the decrease in pass rates over the past few months? Is this due to people not turning up for the course, the exam getting harder of the marking getting stricter (which I guess is almost the same thing?) It seems unfair for the institute to start reducing the pass rates if the standard is the same... especially given the cost of the thing! Anybody know of anyone who has failed recently, and why?
Like communications? I'm sure that 50% of people just don't bother turning up. I've been told that this is exactly what happened for communications. They started with high pass rates so people didn't complain too much and then gradually reduced it so it got harder and harder to pass.....
There was a change in the eligibility criteria to take this course - effectively people could do it sooner. That seems to have triggered the downturn.
