Hi Could someone please clarify what the situation is with outwards reinsurance covering exposures transferred under a part 7 transfer? The notes don't seem to mention it, so i'm guessing any outwards reinsurance can continue unaffected, and the agreement of the reinsurer(s) is not needed - is that correct? Thanks in advance!
Based on my notes from the tutorial the reinsurance goes with the part vii deal so that who ever takes on the business is covered by the reinsurance.
