  1. In this example we have calculated z= 1.19. can we say that as z lies in interval (-1.96, 1.96) we can not reject it at 95%

    In principle, you can always use the confidence interval approach to solve a hypothesis testing problem.

    But note, this is a one sided test here. So, you need to be careful as to what the 95% CI is.
