i would study ST6, however, I just have the 5th edition.

Do you think I should buy 6th or 7th edition?

I worry that the 5th edition is a bit not up-to-date
 
hmmmm.... based on your other post, if you're doing this at a university anyway I wouldn't bother.

just make sure you've got the corrections as there are one or two errors in 5.

If you're at university you can borrow the new one from the library to see what's changed and then make up your mind....
