Good afternoon, At time 11:21 on the video we are shown some row by row calculations for whether a member is a member at the start of each of years 2019, through 2022. There are no reasonableness checks for these calculations. I spent some time considering how to show an automated check that these were 'reasonable' results. Why has nothing been included in the spreadsheet to check the reasonableness? Thank you, Rachael
Hi Rachael, There is a reasonableness check on the number of members done in the audit trail, although this isn't an automated one. The check is explained at the bottom of page 6 of the complete audit trail solution - we just say that the total number of members increases, which seems reasonable for a growing company. There are enough automated checks elsewhere in the spreadsheet to get the 3 marks on offer in Q2. That's not to say that you wouldn't get marks for including this as an automated check - marks tend to be available for any sensible checks. I hope that helps! Lucy
