Actually, the bookmakers have some very real weaknesses particularly in the terms offered in each way bets. It is also possible to lower the variance considerably by using the betting exchanges to hedge. Tuition is a very time consuming business ( I should know I've had 700 odd students and I teach 5 subjects to degree level). I doubt it would mix well with an actuarial job and the actuarial exams However I would say either stick to passing exams or give up and do something else
There are also data entry jobs available in the internet. YOu can also earn extra money from affiliate/internet marketing or even blogging. I also hear some pay per click or get paid to read or surf.. but just be very careful to pick as many are scams..
