Mnemonics/Memory Aids - ST2

Hi,

As we have been told lists/mnemonics are only useful in certain situations!

Personally I never used any mnemonics or the like for an exam ever, before I did CA1 but when I did I found them useful! I thought with the size of the course and type of written exam it is they can help you squeeze an extra point or two out if you are stuck (which seems to happen a lot!) in an exam situation and also given that the time pressures can be such a big factor!

Are there any lists of them for ST2 that people have found useful!?? Or if they use them do students tend to come up with there own?

I am due to attend a block tutorial in ST2, are they recommended in these?

Hi Keyser,

I found mnemonics useful for all the written subjects. There are some "standard" ones for ST2 and you will see these at the tutorial. However, I think it's far better to come up with your own ones as the process of making them up will mean you remember them much better than one you've been told by someone else.

Good luck with the studying!
