Hi all

I don't understand the use of the "hour unit of time" in the "Minister triathlon" tab of the model solution, cell G12. Why is the formula "=Hour/(D12/Swim_1)" ?

I understand that time = distance / speed.

>> EDIT: I think I understand it now. Whenever you work with time values in Excel you need to convert them to "numeric" values using the above method.

Thanks Steve!

I haven't worked much with time values in Excel which was the initial source of confusion. When I realised they are just stored as a fraction out of 24 that made it much clearer.
