As the experiment actually started with 15 mice , 25 weeks before given time.

    Now for first five deaths:
We don't know exact lifetime but we know they died within 25 weeks, so [P(X<=25)]^5 = (1-e^-25lambda )^5

    For further 7 deaths:
Add 25 for each x_i i.e. 25*7 as they lives 25 weeks too.

    For further 3:
No one died within 100+25 weeks
    So [P(X>125)]^3

Saba you ask lots of questions but don't ever seem to say thank you. You'll notice that students will stop answering you after a while....

    ...just saying.

    Bobbathejobba,
She really said thanks many a times! And as per my opinion thanking all the time seems formalism. :p One big thanks is enough for all.

    Saba,
I absolutely agree with you. :) and its my pleasure to answer  you're welcome!
even I'm thankful to you, indeed your queries made me holding my concepts!
