As the experiment actually started with 15 mice , 25 weeks before given time. Now for first five deaths: We don't know exact lifetime but we know they died within 25 weeks, so [P(X<=25)]^5 = (1-e^-25lambda )^5 For further 7 deaths: Add 25 for each x_i i.e. 25*7 as they lives 25 weeks too. For further 3: No one died within 100+25 weeks So [P(X>125)]^3
Saba you ask lots of questions but don't ever seem to say thank you. You'll notice that students will stop answering you after a while.... ...just saying.
I have expressed my thankfulness many times if you read my earlier posts.... I thought of posting a special thread for thanking all who helped clearing my doubts .....but you embarassed me So here it is..... Thanks everyone for helping me.... And special thanks to Hemant who has posted in almost all my threads .....(to whom i have thanked personally too many times). Hope u agree hemant!
Bobbathejobba, She really said thanks many a times! And as per my opinion thanking all the time seems formalism. One big thanks is enough for all. Saba, I absolutely agree with you. and its my pleasure to answer you're welcome! even I'm thankful to you, indeed your queries made me holding my concepts!
