MAXIFS & MINIFS

Hi there, does anyone know if it is ok to use new functions such as MAXIFS & MINIFS in our solutions? I understand these are only available in later versions of MS excel. Thanks for feedback.

I believe there is no issue as long as it is available in the higher version of excel against the minimum requirement. But I would suggest to use simple formulae as long as possible.

Indeed - definitely no issue there. The most recent sitting included a calculation where AVERAGEIFS was the easiest way to do it, and a good number of candidates used that function.

Yes, it is fine. This is a standard function available in all almost all versions.
