Marks!!

  1. I put this CT1 doubt in this section by mistake.

Do we have to show the calculation of i(12) even if i=10%? Why I'm asking this is because in the solution of IAI's November 2012 paper, they have reserved 0.5 marks for this calculation.

When I'm solving the previous years' papers, the reason I lose marks is because I don't show the calculations/steps. Apart from that my approach towards the questions, the formulae applied and also the answers are correct.

In the IFA exams you get the full marks if you get the correct answer unless the question says "show your working" or "explain your steps". In that case you need to show your working to get the full marks.

However, it is always wise to show your working - so that the examiners can give you "follow through" marks if you make a mistake early on in your calculations.
