Markov chains and calculators

Evening all.

For the markov chains question I've worked out how to use the matrix mode on my calculator. This makes stationary distributions etc a breeze.

Clever huh?

Does anyone know how much working I need to show to gain full marks?

I presume nP = P (n being pi) isn't quite enough, but I don't want to write out everything if I don't have to!

Cheers.

I would avoid using your calculator to do this question. I know that it makes it a lot easier, but in my experience at tutorials the more you can put down to support your answer the better. Maybe you could use your calculator to check your answer in the exam.
