   Solution of Q&A 4.2 (top of page 2) says:
   
   LEV_x(x) = E(X ^x) = integral S_x(y) dy (from 0 to x).
   
   Is the equation missing a term " - x * S(x) " on the RHS?
   
   This term is in the formula given on page 12 of Palma's paper.

   Can't find the expression you refer to on page 12 of Palmer's paper. But I can see expressions with F(x) rather than S(x). Are you sure you're not mixing the two up?
