Have you visited this thread? It references some external sites with commands. Alternatively drop me an email and I'll send you my list. Alternatively, cheat and use an online LaTeX equation editor which produces the code for you and then copy and paste that into the forums.
Hi John, I visited the latex thread and it was very useful. The problem am facing is that my code doesn't get compiled on the website. Here's an example: \ddot{x} $\ddot{x}$ The code stays as it is after I have posted it.

hi everyone, i wanted to know how to use latex, do we simply need to put commands in our post or do we need to download some software. Actually in one post i tried putting the command directly , but the commands were not converted in mathematical notations.
