Hi I have a doubt how to take into account the last three values in the likelihood function labda^7*exp-labda (x1+.. x7) but how did they get the factor of only exp(-300labmda) Shouldn't it also be multiplied with lambda^3 also .
The probability that lifetime exceeds 100 weeks is exp(-100lamda) and there are 3 mice who are alive even after 100 weeks so they have taken exp(-300lamda) which is exp(-100lamda)^3.
