Given the change in the exam format (no examiner on hand, no initial preparation day), I've updated my "How to pass Actuarial Exams" book to have a long chapter on CA2. It's available here. I'd welcome any feedback on improvements that could be made.
Excellent! Does the book cover special tips for each exam or more general tips for CTs, CAs, STs or SAs? How many chapters and pages?
It focuses more on the later exams - STs and SAs. It's about 70 pages, with 16 chapters. These cover areas such as planning a study schedule, doing past papers, generating ideas, exam technique (reading questions, planning answers, etc), mnemonics, etc. The only subject that gets its own focus is CA2, which deals with what needs to go in to the answer, how to write it, present it, and model it.
