If for moratorium UW, all UW is conducted at claims stage, how do the exclusions for pre-existing conditions work? Is the pre-existing point checked at claims stage? E.g. claim for condition X made, insurer carries out UW at claim stage and sees that condition X existed pre-inception (in the defined period), so claim not covered - is this right?
