Given that GLIM has not been distributed since 1994, is it perhaps time that the reference in Core Reading was removed? And who pays for S-Plus these days?

Thanks Calum. The Core Reading hasn't been changed and is the remit of the Profession. The staff actuary responsible for CT6 is Sally Calder - so if you'd drop her an email that would be fab. Better if it comes from students than us! Can't see the distribution bit you were talking about though...
Thanks John - I'll drop Sally a note. Sorry, I meant distributed in the sense of sold (although it was free software, I think). GLIM was GLM modelling software developed and distributed by the Royal Statistical Society. They stopped developing it in the early 90s, and according to Wikipedia it's not been available since 1994.
Ah! Forgive my ignorance! All is clear now. Yes definitely needs updating and if you can suggest examples of what is used currently in business that would bless Sally very much.
