Exposure Curve vs First Loss Scales

Discussion in 'SP8' started by thistleandspice, Sep 20, 2011.

  1. Anyone have a good example of the difference? I'm vaguely aware that the first loss scale is like the inverse of an exposure curve - but more differentiating features would be useful!

    Thank you!

You may be thinking of excess of loss scales. Exposure curves / first loss scales are concerned with expected losses in primary layers with different limits whereas XL scales are concerned with the expected losses in the excess layers.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
