Why do we say that Binomial Distribution belongs to the exponential family of distribution even though its PDF cannot be expressed in that form, and when it is actually the Bernoulli distribution that belongs to this family?

We use the binomial distribution to estimate the probability of success. Since the link function connects the linear predictor to the mean of the response variable - we require the mean to be p. hence the transformation.
