Is the expense figure in the accounts really the expenses incurred over the year but it's just split out between expenses paid and the increase in DAC over the year? Thanks
I'd be inclined to think of expenses and DAC separately (because occassionally the examiners ignore DAC completely, but their expense figure is still expenses paid rather than incurred).
