As for CA3 exam, institution ask to install full version of Microsoft office 2007.
I used & compared both, office 2010 & 2007... I found 2010's version easier. I hope 2013's version will be a lot easier.
Now my dillema is if I can use office 2010/2013 in CA3 exam. Even I have to wait about 1-2 year(s) for CA3 exam I want to be practising.
So if I learn newest version of office & use the same in exam, will it works ????

Hi there,

I sat CA3 recently and used Office 2010. In my exam the requirements were that word documents be saved in the .docx format and powerpoint files be saved as .pptx which is possible with both Office 2010 and 2013.

Versions of Office before 2007 use .doc and .ppt instead so I think it's more that you can't use an earlier version than 2007 rather than you specifically need 2007. Of course, if you don't plan to sit the exam for some time then requirements might change in the future!

Hope that helps
