Does anyone know if we are allowed to get as much ready before the exam as possible, including saving an empty word document under the right file name, so that we can start answering the questions as soon as as the exam paper is available? I don't remember reading something on this in the exam instructions. The reason I am asking is because of the timestamp when the Word file is created. Does the IFoA also expect the timestamp of the file creation to be within the assessment period, just like the timestamp of the last save has to be before end of the examination period? I can't see anything in the regs but i don't think this would be a problem. Other students have mentioned in other threads that they have done this in previous sittings.
