    In the exam, if there are annuity or assurance PV calculation questions, will the life tables be provided and do we need to show the formula of how we calculate these eg A_45? The questions I've seen don't show the calculation of these simpler ones, can we just use the formulae and tables to get these values instead?

    Hi Kimiko
    The exam may require you to use the values given in the yellow tables. Soi you should make sure that you have a copy of these for the exam.

    Thank you, Mark! You're referring to the 2002 FORMULAE AND TABLES right?
    Also, does the tables have formula for monthly annuities? In the solution to Practice Question 22.3 it says: (not sure if you can see the image but if not, its an monthly immediate annuity for select age 42 that is said to be equal to an annual immediate annuity for select age 42 - 11/24)

    Yes, it's the 2022 tables.
    This formula is on page 36 of the tables.
