Exact Method of exposure

    What are the disadvantages of using the exact method for calculating exposed to risk?

    Mainly that it's really difficult - you have to have all lives under observation all of the time, including lives joining the study. Otherwise, for instance, you might get someone leaving the study and you don't know exactly when, so you don't know how much exposure they contributed.
