Eurobonds

Discussion in 'CT2' started by shiraz hussain, Apr 1, 2010.

  1. Can someone help me out with the following queries.

The Eurobonds are unsecured loan stocks, which are issued outside the legal and tax jurisdiction of any country.
In case of default, through which courts can the investors sue the company?

Please take into account that the issue involves several countries' investors.
What would be the course of events that occur internationally?

I believe the investors will have to go to the court of the country in whose denomination the Eurobonds were issued.

  3. For example, if a UK company issued Eurobonds in dollars, then can the US court dissolve a company registered in UK?
