Hi there, hopefully some of you will have some advice for me...
I'm in my last year at university and have been offered a job with one of the big consultancies working as a Pensions Actuary. I did placements over the summer in this field and really enjoyed it and have accepted the offer from the big consultancy.
However, from looking at other opportunities since - in particular companies that let you do rotations in different areas of actuarial - I'm not sure if I would prefer working somewhere that allows this.
Should I put this to the back of my mind and go with the job I've accepted, or apply for the other companies anyway? I know it looks really bad to decline a job you have accepted.
Is it easy to move into a different area when you are part qualified or is it quite difficult?
Any advice anyone has would be great!
