Is the preparation of the presentation at the end of day 1 conducted under exam conditions or is it open book?

In the schedule for the 2 days provided by the Profession, the bit at the end of day 2 is described as a "PC based examination" but the bit at the end of day 1 is described as "PC Based preparation of PowerPoint presentation"

thanks

Our understanding is that you will have access to Core Reading during the presentation slide prepartion session at the end of the first day.

It makes sense to be open book because they aren't testing your knowledge - its how you communicate. They take for granted you know the subject as you must already have passed/studied.

That said, if you do have to do loads of reading, it will eat into prep time and perhaps make you come across more nervous.

Both PC-based parts are under exam conditions.

You have access to soft-copies of the Core Reading and any other notes you wish to use when you're preparing the slides for day two. I don't think anyone in the group used the Core Reading.

You will not have access any notes or other reading material during the PC-based exam at the end of day two.
