    How many of you have or would consider girlfriend/boyfriend who was an actuary. Intriguing how many actuaries hook up together - an alarming number in my company!

    you mean actuaries actually like getting intimate ....
    i thought the only thing that might make actuaries " h o r n y" a change in teh guidance notes! lol

    If looks are awarded marks from 1 to 10, and interlect was treated in the same way, the sum of them would be normally distributed with a mean of 11 in our profession. with a small varience.

    What do you think it would be in accountancy?

    Perhaps the profession should do an ali g when vetting them.

    I cannot believe that no one is currently dating an actuary.
    We must have some sort of anomaly at this company then!

    No all our actuarial types date each other. I've dated 2, hmm nope 3 people at work (however surreptitiously) but they don't last. So personally I'd tick the No, I wouldn't consider it button, despite adding to the statistics myself.
