Data vs Parameters?

A couple of times before, I had a section on data in the audit trail which referenced the specific data given in the Excel file. Then I had a Parameters section with other 'data'. For example May 2015 Paper 1 - the data was the Charity triathlon results while in my Parameters section I included income and outgo items from the event.

In the solution, however, the data from the Excel file and figures for the income and outgo etc are all included in the Data section of the audit trail.

Just wondering is it OK to do what I did above?
 
Just realised the solution also has a Parameters section in the audit trail but it mentions things that are also in the Data section..
