Hiya, I have a friend that is doing CA1 in April 2010. He also wants to do CT9 in Feb. 2010. Do you guys think its wise to do both or should he just do CA1 then do CT9 afterwards? Thanks.
I did CT9 before doing CA1. I did not find any problem in passing or understanding the content. I do not see any problem in doing it this way. By Feb he should have covered a large portion of the CA1 syllabus anyways. Disclaimer: I have not yet done CA1.
Dont see a problem with the order but they recommend doing ct9 within 12 18 months of entry to the profession if that has a bearing. Its close to exam time so make sure you stay on top of ca1. But the test can be done after the CA1 exam so no pressure there. I dont believe there is a strong correlation between the 2. So try it
