I know the requirement is that ALL CT's are passed or exempted before you can attempt CA2. But I've also seen (on some pdf document from the Institute's site) talk of CT1-CT8. So my question is, do you actually need to have passed CT9 or not, before you can attempt CA2?
If you read the FAQs on the website I think it's clear you need CT9 before CA2 and CA3: http://www.actuaries.org.uk/researc...practical-exams-subjects-ct9-ca2-and-ca3-faqs Probably not what you wanted to hear!!
CT9 is a breeze though, not so much an exam as a formality. If that's the only CT you're outstanding then you'll be onto CA2 in no time.
