The test statistic used: (280 + 0.5 -332) / (88.567) ^ 0.5, why was the "+0.5" adjustment used here? Comparing this to the test statistic used in question September 2014 Question 9 v), there is no "+0.5" so I am slightly confused when to apply this. Thanks
Technically a continuity correction should always be applied as we're approximating a discrete distribution with a continuous normal. However, the CT6 examiners are fine if you don't.
