CT6 chapter 7 q7.3

    hi,

    in question 7.3 of the chapter, how did we know that the integrand is 0.1 if 0<= (s-y) <=10 ?

    why have we considered the case of s between 10 and 20?

    Always helpful to state the question or take a screen shot of it for those who don't have the current notes. :)

    Since \(X \sim U(0,10)\) then \(0<X<10\) and \(S = X+Y\) hence \(X = S - Y\).
