CT5 revisions?

I am planning to take CT5 and CT2 this September. Any idea if the materials from 2008 is still applicable?

One question; Do I look at both 2008 and 2009 upgrades if I have the 2008 pack, or just focus on the 2008 upgrade? I compared the two and they looked different for some of the updates; some had clashes, some had missing pages.

Basically, you need to use the 2008/9 upgrade to get your 2008 notes to a 2009 version and then use the 2009/10 upgrade to get your (just created) 2009 notes to the 2010 version.

I believe there is a discount for a new CMP for retakers, so you could opt to buy a new one instead if the changes are very substantial.

It was confusing for me because there was inconsistencies between the two sets.

For example, in the 2009 upgrade pack, the correction for Q&A Bank Part 2 Question 2.21 is referring to a non-existing question in the old 2008 notes, nor present in the 2008 upgrade.

There is also missing pages from the 2008 upgrade pack:

Q&A Bank Part 2
Q2.27 and 2.28 are new, but no solution attached. -- I checked the 2009 upgrade packs too, but no reference there.

That's all I found so far. Anyone using the upgrade packs too?

 

I'm not sure you're using the Upgrades correctly.

As didster says, you need to use the 2008/2009 document to get the 2008 version to a 2009 version. Then use the 2009/2010 document to get the 2009 version to a 2010 version.

The 2008/2009 document tells you that Q&A Bank 2 has had new questions added as 2.4 and 2.11 and that other question numbers have changed accordingly. So 2008 Q 2.19 will be renumbered as 2009 Q 2.21 (because there are two extra questions before it). The 2009/2010 document then gives you the correction to this question.

The 2008/2009 document doesn't refer to "new" questions 2.27 and 2.28. So, I'm not sure what you mean. Perhaps, it's that 2008 Q2.25 and 2008 Q2.26 will be 2009 Q2.27 and 2009 Q2.28 because of the additions mentioned above.
