Hello, as I'm a beginner, I have a very basic doubt regarding summations and probabilities from chapter 1. With reference to pages 15 and 16 , it can inferred : ∑P(kx=k) = k│qx( where summation is from k=0 to n-1) whereas from pages 18 and 19 it can be inferred : ∑P(kx=k) = nqx( where summation is from k=0 to n-1) Can you help me with the disparity?
