Hello,

In this example la =l47 is taken with some arbitrary constant Number.
Can we solve this example by taking radix as l45 .

If no then what does prevent to apply the same.
 
There is no Example in page 27 of chap 3.

It's fine Sunil, you can choose any age and any value for your radix. It's the relationships between the different values of L that matter, not what their absolute values are.
Thanks for trying to help Varsha, but the reason you didn't find the example is because you are looking at a very old version of the course notes, and they have changed since then!
MESSAGE TO EVERYONE: You should always use the current version of the materials if you want to be sure of passing the exam!! (The current version has the date 2017 in the footers.)
