Has anybody referred to the book - John E. Freund's Mathematical statistics with applications. Miller, I.; Miller, M.; [Freund, J. E.] 7th ed. - supplementary reading for CT3 suggested by the profession's website. I want to know how far is it relevant for our course and exam point of view. I have just received it from the profession's library. Is the book self-sufficient?

The Core Reading (and our notes!) are sufficient for the exam.

The Freund book I found very painful! Great for in-depth results but not for understanding by mortals!

John, which notes are you talking about?

The CMP/Course Notes we sell. Our notes are the plain text around the bold Core Reading.
