Hi All,
Can anyone review and confirm below query
My understanding about not putting Summation to X in question 3.12 is that x is given a total observed successes of N trials. Since it's already given a total of N , so there is no need to put summation here.

Am I correct?
And that's why question 3.12 is different from question 3.4 part 1b.

in question 3.4 part b it's given :
P from binomial Bin(m,p) distribution and we have to obtain MLE of N random samples(x1,x2,.....Xn).

And question 3.12:
Determine MLE and CRLB of an unbiased estimator p based on a total of X observed successes in a series of N independent Bernoulli trials.
