    In CT3-03 page 22 example 3.11 the notes state, “Since T can take values in the range 0<T<∞, U can take values in the range 0<U<1.” Why is this so?

    \(U=e^{-\lambda T}\)

    Substitute \(T=0\) and \(T= \infty\) into the formula.
